I cannot believe we are here at the end of our first full school year! I just want to take a moment to say thank you. When we opened our doors last fall, we dreamed Green Room Music would become a space where people of all ages could learn, connect, and grow through music. Thanks to you all, that dream has become a joyful reality.
To our students: thank you for your energy, your creativity, and your courage to try something new. To our families: thank you for your trust and encouragement. And to our teachers: thank you for the heart, humor, and passion you bring into every lesson and performance.
Over the past six months, we’ve joined together in so many meaningful ways:
Performances
We reprised our Storytellers series at Mimi’s Coffeehouse, and hosted all students at our Spring Show. We also celebrated Mount Kisco at its 150th Anniversary showcase and rocked out at the Oak Lane Childcare Center fundraiser!

Community Events
We finally held our official ribbon cutting ceremony! In March, we helped a local Junior Girl Scout troop earn their music merit badges. And more recently, we hosted the Linda Zhang Foundation’s annual art show.

Adults Just Wanna Have Fun
We held our first-ever Adult Pop-Up Chorus in May with our next one coming soon! And our adult students took the spotlight and absolutely rocked it at our first adult student showcase, dubbed “Senioritis.”

What’s Next?
Though the school year is wrapping up, the music isn’t stopping! We’ve got some great events lined up for summer:
July 16, 8:00 PM – Next Pop-Up Chorus
July 17, 11:30 AM – mildpanic (Caitlin & Eugene) live at Mimi’s Coffeehouse
August 18–22 – GRM Rock Camp (spots still available!)
To those of you continuing over the summer, we’ll see you soon. And for those of you coming back to us in the fall, we can’t wait to hear all about your amazing summers!
With gratitude,
Eugene
